Sidewalk Film Festival is produced by the Alabama Moving Image Association, a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission to inspire, encourage and support filmgoers, the city of Birmingham and the filmmaking community. In addition to hosting the annual film festival, we host monthly networking and educational events, a monthly documentary series, short film and screenwriting competitions, manage a youth board and a variety of other year-round programs.

Neighborhood Food Drive Directed by Jerzy Rose USA, Narrative, 85 minutes
Two snobby upscale restaurateurs, a few do-gooder artsy college students and a professor with nothing better to do attempt to throw a series of food drive launch parties for their gentrifying Chicago neighborhood. They fail more and more spectacularly each time, with increasingly dreadful results. This comedy lampoons egotistical humanitarianism and millennial solipsism with a pitch-dark deadpan and increasingly absurd tone. Neighborhood Food Drive premiered this past January at the Slamdance Film Festival and stars Sidewalk alum Bruce Bundy. - Corey Craft
